Our location is convenient for parents. We are close to shopping and dining (right next to Ulta, Trader Joe’s, Puesto and Lazy Dog) , so you can drop off your athlete and run errands or grab a bite to eat. OR you are welcome to stay and watch!

San Diego Gymnastics hires the best and most qualified instructors fostering a prestigious and fun coaching environment. All instructors are CPR, First Aid, background screened, USAG SafeSport (United States of America Gymnastics), Concussion Prevention & Safety, and SDG University (SDG’s extensive in-house training program) certified. Our team includes American Parkour Certified Instructors, individuals with backgrounds in kinesiology, teaching, early childhood development, and psychology. Our team also includes American Parkour Certified Instructors and APK trained coaches, occupational therapists, personal trainers, ABA therapists, and more!

What programs do you offer? Beginning at walking to ages 17 years, San Diego Gymnastics offers a variety of programs that expose children in our community to fun and fitness! SDG provides gymnastics, parkour, tumbling, alternative pre-school, after school program, camps, parties, Kids’ Night Out and open gym. SDG’s unique and safe environment makes the perfect combination of healthy competition in a relaxed and supportive setting. All our programs are organized by age and skill level. 

How do I enroll? To enroll create an account with us online. After creating your account choose the best class time that fits your schedule! SDG understands many families are very busy, we try our best to offer a variety of class times to help support your needs. 

What is the billing schedule? SDG charges tuition one month in advance at the first of each month. At sign up, you will be required to pay a prorated amount of the current month, as well as one month in advance.

Can I join or cancel at any time? Of course! All classes are continuous and are designed so that a new child can join and stop at any time without skipping a beat!

What is the annual fee? The $65 annual fee per child and is charged each year your child is actively enrolled in classes. The annual fee ensures our coaches, equipment and facilities are state of the art and up-to date with what your child deserves! 

How do I know what class to enroll in? Our classes are broken up into age groups and by skill level! Check out our class schedule, contact us, or come by the nearest SDG to find the best fit for your child. 

What are the class sizes? Every class at SDG adheres to strict ratios. Each class has no more than 8 students per instructor.

What are the qualifications of SDG coaches and staff? All of our coaches are USAG certified which includes: a background screen, Safety and Risk Management course, SafeSport, and basic Gymnastics Instruction courses. Our coaching staff also includes American Parkour Instructors, being the only gym in San Diego to provide the highest quality of parkour instruction. All of our Coaches are CPR/First Aid certified and have experience working with children. Most applicants have direct experience coaching Gymnastics and/or other sports. We are proud to have former teachers, physical therapists, and high school coaches working at SDG! Most of our Coaches have college degrees or are currently enrolled in various San Diego Universities completing their education. 

Do you offer make-up classes? Safety is our number one priority. In order to provide small ratios and class sizes and provide the best experience for each child, we do not offer makeup classes.

Can I transfer classes mid-month? You may transfer to another class if your family’s schedule changes. In order for your child to experience the most consistent coaching styles and progression as possible, we do not allow transfers every month. Staying consistent is extremely important for the growth of your child. 

What do I wear and bring to class? For girls, we suggest a leotard, shorts, leggings or a t-shirt or tank top. Boys can wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. Any athletic clothing is suggested. Leotards are not mandatory. All students must be barefoot while participating in class. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail in order to attend class.
